Bonduel High School Mock Accident
On Wednesday, April 18, students at Bonduel High School took part in the "A Touch of Reality" program, which was held by the school's Students Against Destructive Decisions club. Students watched the events that take place after an accident in real-time. The program included emergency response to an accident, a helicopter evacuation, a simulated emergency room sequence, and a look at what happens during the testing, booking, and trial of a drunk driver. Various agencies took part in the day's events, including the Bonduel Police, Bonduel Fire Department, Bonduel EMS, Shawano Ambulance Service, Shawano Hospital, Shawano Sheriff's Department, Shawano Coroner, ThedaStar, and Wisconsin State Patrol.
