Save the Pavilion

The pavilion at Village Park in Bonduel has come under disrepair. We are currently fund-raising to help fix the foundation, roof and flooring, among other things.
Can you be part of helping us keep the heart of Bonduel's happiest moments beating?
The pavilion was built in 1907 by Fred Benter. The first events, from what is gathered at this point from limited historical information, were held in 1909. It is also said that it is only 1 of 6 structures of its nature in the state. The round nature of the building came about because people danced in a circle. (The pavilion committee is always looking for additional or clarifying information. We'd be happy to make copies of old photos of events at the pavilion through the years as well!)
The first event to celebrate this endeavor is a $20 ticket raffle that will go on sale mid July. The winners will be announced at the Save the Pavilion Dance, Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Pavilion at Village Park. More details about this event will follow soon!
If you would like to make a donation, you can mail them to: Village of Bonduel, Pavilion Restoration Project, PO Box 67, Bonduel, WI 54107. Please note "Pavilion Restoration Project" on the check.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Next event...Save the Pavilion Dance, Village Park Pavilion, Saturday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m.
