Bonduel Police Department
Email: bonduelpd@villageofbonduel.com
The Bonduel Police Department is now in their new location located on the south end of the Fire Department Building at 207 S. First Street. If the Police Department is not open, there will be a call box on the outside of the entrance door that you can pick up and be connected to the Shawano County Sheriff's Department. If there is an officer on duty, the Sheriff's Department will then page the officer to return to the station to assist you. If there is not a Bonduel officer on duty, the Sheriff's Department can then dispatch a county officer to assist you.
The south end of the Fire Department building formerly housed the Municipal Operations Department. The Municipal Operations Department moved into their new location in October 2008. The board then designated the entire building as the Public Safety Building and approved funds to remodel the building to accomodate a meeting room for the Fire Department and to house the Police Department.
The Village is committed to providing the best public safety it can offer. The police department owns one fully-equipped squad car with state-of-the-art communications equipment along with the latest audio/video technology. It employs a laptop computer linked to the state’s mobile data system. Officers are able to check registrations and an individual’s status/criminal history from anywhere in the USA and Canada from inside the squad car.
The department offers every service that larger agencies have, along with vehicle registrations. The police department takes pride in the ability to accomplish its mission of making Bonduel a safe place to work, live and play by employing a community policing strategy and creating bonds with the community.
